Adios Douchebag (And another one gone, and another one gone. Another one bites the dust )

I love waking up to good news. A big round of applause to The Navy Seals, the CIA and even to The President for a job well done. My only regret is that The President treated this scum's carcass with dignity befitting a human, rather than the animal Bin Laden clearly was. Personally I do not think I would have just dumped him out to sea. I would have put that slime's head on a pike outside the White House where I could see my trophy from the windows of the Oval Office, and the American People could see it as well. I would also have sewed up the rest of the offal, read that as the rest of the asshole's body, in a pig's carcass after having a Marine piss on it and jam a pork chop up the ass. Then, just to make my point to all the other wanna-be terrorists, I would have aired the festivities on all the news channels, as well as on a constant repeating loop, complete with laugh track, on the White House Blog. I know it is supposed to be shameful to glory in the death of another, but I just do not have it in me to feel bad about it. Adios fucker! Justice is served, if a bit quickly for my preference. By the way, the weather where you are going is always HOT. Sun block recommendation, SPF 1,000,000.

Yes, I know the picture is a fake, but it still makes my point.

Joke of the Week

I know I have already posted a joke very similar to this one before, but I figured that with the economy in the toilet, reusing our natural resources, such as humor, will keep costs down. Just because it has been reused, the serial numbers have been filed off and it has been dressed up with some new lines is no reason not to laugh at a very funny joke.

The economy is so bad that I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.

I ordered a burger at McDonald's, and the kid behind the counter asked, "Can you afford fries with that?"

CEO's are now playing miniature golf.

If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you have to call them and ask if they mean you or them.

Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are trading higher than GM.

McDonald's is selling the 1/4 'ouncer'.

Parents in Beverly Hills and Malibu are firing their nannies and learning their children's names.

A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico.

Dick Cheney took his stockbroker hunting.

Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore.

The Mafia is laying off judges.

BP Oil laid off 25 Congressmen.

Congress says they are looking into the Bernard Madoff scandal. Oh Great!! The guy who made $50 Billion disappear is being investigated by the people who made $1.5 Trillion disappear!

And, finally...

I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, and our bleak future, that I called the Suicide Lifeline and was connected to a call center in Pakistan. When I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

Assholes!!

Immigrants Today and Then

This piece came to me in an email from my friend and coworker Johnny Mac. This is so true, yet so sad.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented.

Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved goodbye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsman ship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought alongside men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan. None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French American, the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who have sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

More Reasons to Repeal CommireCare

Tip O' the Hat to my Dad for forwarding this on to me.

Via The Douglass Report

Employers could earn billions by ditching insurance

If you're not fed up with the ObamaCare lies yet, wait until you hear this next one -- because it's a doozy, even by crooked Washington standards.

The president promised that his plan won't change a thing for people who already get health insurance through an employer... but it looks like someone forgot to tell the employers that, because corporate America is already planning to cut you loose.

The new law gives most employers a choice: Fund health insurance for your workers, or pay a fine. Sounds great for the workers -- until you run the numbers.

Don't bother getting out your calculator, corporate America has already beaten you to the punch. It took them all of 12 seconds to figure out that it would be cheaper to kill their insurance plans and pay the fines.

Just look at AT&T. They might provide lousy phone service, but they're pretty good with math -- they've calculated that ditching health insurance for employees would cost them $600 million in ObamaCare fines, according to the Wall Street Journal.

But since they paid $2.4 billion in health care costs last year, that's the quickest and easiest $1.8 billion they'll ever make.

Thank you, Mr. President. Here's a free iPhone.

Caterpillar, John Deere and Verizon are all crunching their own numbers, according to the Journal... and I'll bet your employer is as well.

Remember, once they drop your insurance you will be required by law to buy your own -- and don't think for a moment that it'll be cheaper or better. Some of my middle-class friends will have to pay $1,000 a month or more for their "free" ObamaCare.

Meanwhile, the Congressional Budget Office said a few months ago that discretionary spending for the first decade of ObamaCare would be $55 billion. Now, they're saying it'll be $110 billion.

In a few more months, who knows -- maybe it'll be a zillion dollars. Whatever it is, you know who'll be stuck with that bill.

YOU.

A Prayer for Our President

Right now, our President is besieged on all sides by contention. He says he is making the changes necessary to make this a great nation once again despite the will of the people, because he knows what is best for us. At this time I would like to offer a prayer for The Chosen One as he goes about making the changes to our great nation that "He" deems to be for our own good. Today's prayer is taken from Psalm 109:8.

May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership. Amen.

BS Quote From Speaker Piglosi

In early remarks released by ABC, Pelosi was asked by "This Week" host Elizabeth Vargas, "When asked to grade the past year, Pelosi said, "I think I get an A for effort." - And that my friends, is as succinct a statement as I have ever heard about what is wrong with this nation. Nodar Kumaritashvili: Never Forget

I was just about a gnat's whisker from deleting my original Nodar Kumaritashvili post. I felt, and to some extent still do feel, that it was not as well written as it could have been. My sentiments towards the IOC remain however, so something was required to take its place. Such callousness should not be allowed unchallenged. I came across this article that mirrors my feeling in this debacle. While I endeavour to be as original as I can, time permitting, once a truth is spoken, it is not necessary to rephrase it. While I think that Dissident Voice is filled with mealy-mouthed, soft-headed, liberal nonsense, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Thank you Mr. Zirin for putting into words my sentiments so exactly. Incidentally, I have decided to not delete the post because someone thought it worthy of a comment. If someone is going to take the time to comment on my humble writing, than I guess I can not delete it.

Nodar Kumaritashvili: Never Forget
by David Zirin / February 23rd, 2010

The charter of the International Olympic Committee states that one of the Committee’s primary objectives is to “encourage and support the promotion of ethics in sports.” The circumstances surrounding the death of Georgian luge slider Nodar Kumaritashvili expose the charter as an absolute lie. On the cusp of last week’s opening ceremonies, Kumaritashvili died practicing on a track many believed to be extremely dangerous.

Shortly before his death, the 21-year-old Kumaritashvili spoke to his father, David, who said to the AP, “He told me: ‘Dad, I really fear that curve.’ I’m a former athlete myself, and I told him: ‘You just take a slower start.’ But he responded: ‘Dad, what kind of thing you are teaching me? I have come to the Olympics to “ try to win.’… He told me: ‘I will either win or die.’”

Kumaritashvili’s fear had been shared by other luge sliders since the day the track opened in 2008 and course designers said that it was “faster, steeper and more intense than any track in history.” United States luge athlete Mark Grimmette said the very day before Kumaritashvili’s death, “I think we’re probably getting close, too close, to the edge.” Bob Storey, president of the International Federation of Bobsleigh and Tobogganing, said of the track’s design: “That was not an engineering decision. That was a commercial decision.”

Hannah Campbell-Pegg of Australia also commented, “To what extent are we just little lemmings that they throw down this track and we’re crash-test dummies?” Even Armin Zoeeggeler of Italy, the world’s top luger, crashed earlier in the day.

The more luge sliders complained about impending peril, the less they were heard.

The IOC and the International Luge Federation (FIL) should right now be begging for forgiveness, demanding a thorough investigation, and already starting to make restitution to Kumaritashvili’s family. They should count themselves as lucky that they won’t be nabbed for involuntary manslaughter. Instead, they have chosen a path of ugly arrogance that recalls the imperious former IOC President Avery Brundage at his absolute worst.

Even for people who oversee winter sports, this is very cold-blooded.

VANOC (the IOC’s host body) and FIL issued a response with a tone of barely concealed annoyance that Kumaritashvili had to selfishly go and die. Taking a mere ten hours to “investigate” how Kumaritashvili died, they blamed him for his own death on Curve 16, writing, “There was no indication that the accident was caused by deficiencies in the track.”

The subtext was, “Time to move on. Get back to work and on that track.”

The incredibly callous and patently suspect “official finding” is rooted in the true mission of the IOC: maxing out television revenue. The highly profitable niche of extreme winter sports has put pressure on the Winter Games to supply a product with ever more speed and spectacle. The result is the first luger to die on the track in thirty-four years. To slow down the games out of respect for the dead, or even to investigate how so many concerns could be ignored, would be to slow a carnival that has generated 26.4 million average viewers for the first five nights of NBC’s pretaped television primetime broadcast. (These numbers are 22 percent higher than the 2006 games in Torino.) Their argument is that they’re not at fault because they’re the IOC; therefore, they can’t be at fault.

But the IOC’s actions after the blood was mopped off the ice show that they know very well knew where to place blame. After insisting that their oh-so-extensive ten-hour investigation found the track to be safe, they had workers put up a high wooden wall just past the curve where Kumaritashvili died. They also put padding on the exposed metal beams before the finish line and they changed the men’s starting point, which will slow their speed on the track. After questioned on these hurried moves, they said that it was all done out of concern for the emotional state of Kumaritashvili’s teammates and competitors, a feint toward sympathy that even the New York Times called “bogus.”

To further make sure that we forget that the 2010 Vancouver Olympics started with death, Steve Capus, president of NBC News, has handed down a directive that the graphic video of Kumaritashvili’s death is not to be shown on any of NBC’s news programming without his permission. In addition, this policy has apparently been adopted by NBC Sports. Out of sight, out of mind. As for Kumaritashvili, his body has already been shipped back to his native Georgia. His family is grieving, his mother throwing herself on his coffin as it traveled the streets toward his home.

Now the sports pages are filled with stories about Lindsay Vonn, Shani Davis, and Bode Miller. (Nodar who?) But while the games go on, we should never forget. After all, if this is how the IOC treats its athletes, heaven help the rest of us. As the games get underway in London in 2012 or Russia 2014, remember that there is blood on the tracks.

In Memory of Nodar Kumaritashvili

I think the picture above says it all. My condolences to the family, friends and other loved ones of Nodar Kumaritashvili. Nodar was struck down in his prime, but he died doing what he loved. The hearts of my family bleed for you and your loss. Now that the Olympics are over and Nodar has been laid to rest, I have a bone to pick with the IOC. The IOC released a cold and indifferent statement about the accident. How dare you fuzzy-headed, tree-hugging, hateful assholes blame his death completely on pilot error. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. The fact that you modified the track puts the lie to your assertions that the track is completely safe. You must think the world's population is stupid and can not discern a lie. Nodar Kumaritashvili's death is a tragedy, however, that your extreme hubris has been exposed for all the world to see, will hopefully be eye opening. In the future, this will color the perceptions of the world on your every word. Here is a great opinion piece, and it is a shame that the athletes did not unite to bring you to your knees.

Fight the Power!

Post Notes: I originally wrote this as a response to a comment posted by Debbie in this post by Jo-Joe Politico. I was commenting on Debbie, a great blogger that I have recently found, saying that she would no longer be commenting on blogs that allow the idiots leftists to insult us conservatives. The need to struggle on is an important one, and as such I feel this is a good message.

It is easy to get discouraged. We are facing adversity at every turn. The enemy seems to be everywhere we look. Even I get discouraged now and again. It is easy to fall into the trap, one I believe is created from self-pity, of giving up. That is the easy choice, but it is no solution. The true price of freedom is eternal vigilance and a willingness to lay down your life if need be. Know you are not alone. We struggle everyday in our own lives, and the leftist attempt to cut us from the herd and drag us down individually. Do NOT let them do this. Our strength lies in our willingness and ability to hang together, for if we do not, we will most certainly hang separately. This is the great strength of the left, they know how to organize and work together. We are learning to do this, and combined with our moral sense coupled with our ability to think, rather than just feel, is what will win us back our nation. I quote myself earlier when I told Debbie, "I know you are not running away, but no matter why you go, if you go, they win. Fight back with reasoned argument and show them up as the brainless slugs who are unable think and reason, but only ooze from one sensation or feeling to another, that they are. If we turn our backs on the fight, they WILL win, by default yes, but we will wake up with the jackboot of liberal "it's good for you" tyranny on our necks without any one to blame but ourselves." Support each other. Get together and struggle as a group. Do NOT allow them to divide and conquer. The only concept the left has that was well thought out is solidarity. Learn this one thing from the enemy and keep your chin up, your head down, and you powder dry.

Joke of the Week 2.0

I have been having a lot of problems both at home and at work. Things just have not been going my way. So last night I was depressed, so I called Lifeline. I got a freakin' call center in Pakistan. "Oh well," I thought. So I told them I was suicidal. They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.

Assholes..................

The RWE Response to the State of the Union

Here is my response to The Chosen One's State of the Union Address Lecture:

Madam Speaker, Vice President Biden, members of Congress, distinguished guests, and fellow Americans:

I am surprised, he could have sneaked another "my" into this speech in the first line and would have had the cover of tradition. Is he an American? I still have not seen a birth certificate.

Our Constitution declares that from time to time, the President shall give to Congress information about the state of our union. For 220 years, our leaders have fulfilled this duty. They've done so during periods of prosperity and tranquility. And they've done so in the midst of war and depression; at moments of great strife and great struggle.

Has he started reading the constitution, or did the speech writer just put that in.

It's tempting to look back on these moments and assume that our progress was inevitable -- that America was always destined to succeed. But when the Union was turned back at Bull Run, and the Allies first landed at Omaha Beach, victory was very much in doubt. When the market crashed on Black Tuesday, and civil rights marchers were beaten on Bloody Sunday, the future was anything but certain. These were the times that tested the courage of our convictions, and the strength of our union. And despite all our divisions and disagreements, our hesitations and our fears, America prevailed because we chose to move forward as one nation, as one people.

Again, we are tested. And again, we must answer history's call.
Is he saying what I think he is saying? Is he really calling for us to rise up and take our country back?

One year ago, I took office amid two wars, an economy rocked by a severe recession, a financial system on the verge of collapse, and a government deeply in debt. Experts from across the political spectrum warned that if we did not act, we might face a second depression. So we acted -- immediately and aggressively. And one year later, the worst of the storm has passed.
"So I am going to blame Bush, spend even more of your money, and tell you that it is all over while those evil banks are repossessing your house."

But the devastation remains.
I thought the worst had passed, guess you were just kidding.

One in 10 Americans still cannot find work.
Unemployment is much closer to 18% than 10%.

Many businesses have shuttered. Home values have declined. Small towns and rural communities have been hit especially hard. And for those who'd already known poverty, life has become that much harder.
And what have you done to help? Not a damn thing as far as I can tell.

This recession has also compounded the burdens that America's families have been dealing with for decades -- the burden of working harder and longer for less; of being unable to save enough to retire or help kids with college.
Not to mention paying for deadbeats who will not get jobs or stand on their own two feet.

So I know the anxieties that are out there right now. They're not new. These struggles are the reason I ran for President. These struggles are what I've witnessed for years in places like Elkhart, Indiana; Galesburg, Illinois. I hear about them in the letters that I read each night. The toughest to read are those written by children -- asking why they have to move from their home, asking when their mom or dad will be able to go back to work.
Yeah, a millionaire feels my pain. Is it just me, or is he especially long winded?

For these Americans and so many others, change has not come fast enough. Some are frustrated; some are angry. They don't understand why it seems like bad behavior on Wall Street is rewarded, but hard work on Main Street.....................................
Agggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Shut Up! Shut up! SHUT UP!!!! I am so tired of listening to this ass. Allow me to summarize. Lies, lies, promises I have no intention of keeping, inane idiocy, bipartisanship so the peepul can blame them too, aaaaaaand oh yeah, it's Bush's fault. [Big Smile]

The man is still campaigning and not leading. Three more years of this might be more than I can take.

Another One Bites the Dust

Today the Iraqi court system sent this monster to Hell. In case you are unaware of who "Chemical Ali" Hassan Abd al-Majid al-Tikritieh was, allow me to enlighten you. Ali was the cousin of Saddam Hussein who practiced the best tenets of the "Religion of Peace" by murdering over five thousand Kurdish Iraqis in a poison gas attack. Having said this, RWE bids "Chemical Ali" a fond adieu.

Here are two great cartoons I found while trolling around on the net. I hope you enjoy the toons and get a great laugh.

Joke of the Week

I know I have not posted lately, but between work, the family and being just plain tired, I took an unplanned pause for the cause. I am back now, and well rested now, I think. This weeks joke again comes from Doug H. It definitely is in keeping with my thoughts on the idiocy of political correctness. Enjoy the laugh.

RE: Gala Christmas Party

I'm happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will take place on December 23rd, starting at noon in the private function room at the Grill House. There will be a cash bar and plenty of drinks! We'll have a small band playing traditional carols... feel free to sing along. And don't be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as Santa Claus! A Christmas tree will be lit at 1:00 PM. Exchanges of gifts among employees can be done at that time; however, no gift should be over $10.00 to make the giving of gifts easy for everyone's pockets. This gathering is only for employees! Our CEO will make a special announcement at that time!

Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Patty

RE: Gala Holiday Party

In no way was yesterday's memo intended to exclude our Jewish employees. We recognize that Hanukkah is an important holiday, which often coincides with Christmas, though unfortunately not this year. However, from now on, we're calling it our "Holiday Party." The same policy applies to any other employees who are not Christians and to those still celebrating Reconciliation Day.
There will be no Christmas tree and no Christmas carols will be sung. We will have other types of music for your enjoyment.

Happy now?

Happy Holidays to you and your family,
Patty

RE: Holiday Party

Regarding the note I received from a member of Alcoholics Anonymous requesting a non-drinking table, you didn't sign your name.
I'm happy to accommodate this request, but if I put a sign on a table that reads, "AA Only", you wouldn't be anonymous anymore. How am I supposed to handle this? Somebody? And sorry, but forget about the gift exchange, no gifts are allowed since the union members feel that $10.00 is too much money and the executives believe $10.00 is a little chintzy.

REMEMBER: NO GIFTS EXCHANGE WILL BE ALLOWED.

RE: Generic Holiday Party

What a diverse group we are! I had no idea that December 20th begins the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which forbids eating and drinking during daylight hours. There goes the party! Seriously, we can appreciate how a luncheon at this time of year does not accommodate our Muslim employees' beliefs. Perhaps the Grill House can hold off on serving your meal until the end of the party or else package everything for you to take it home in little foil doggy baggy. Will that work? Meanwhile, I've arranged for members of Weight Watchers to sit farthest from the dessert buffet, and pregnant women will get the table closest to the restrooms. Gays are allowed to sit with each other. Lesbians do not have to sit with Gay men, each group will have their own table. Yes, there will be flower arrangement for the Gay men's table. To the person asking permission to cross dress, the Grill House asks that no cross-dressing be allowed, apparently because of concerns about confusion in the restrooms. Sorry. We will have booster seats for short people. Low-fat food will be available for those on a diet. I am sorry to report that we cannot control the amount of salt used in the food . The Grill House suggests that people with high blood pressure taste a bite first. There will be fresh "low sugar" fruits as dessert for diabetics, but the restaurant cannot supply "no sugar" desserts. Sorry!

Did I miss anything?!?!?

I've had it with you vegetarian pricks!!! We're going to keep this party at the Grill House whether you like it or not, so you can sit quietly at the table furthest from the "grill of death," as you so quaintly put it, and you'll get your f*%^ing salad bar, including organic tomatoes. But you know, tomatoes have feelings, too. They scream when you slice them. I've heard them scream. I'm hearing them scream right NOW! The rest of you f*%^ing wierdos can kiss my *ss. I hope you all have a rotten holiday!

Patton Lives

The other day I was listening to the G. Gordon Liddy show, and I heard an awesome speech by a comedian named Mike Kaminski. Kaminski does voices, both imitations and originals, and in this speech he played this week's American Patriot/Hero, General George S. Patton. "Patton" put forth some interesting thoughts on the current state of affairs in this nation and with our current wars. I could easily believe that the real Patton would have given a speech exactly like this, were he alive today. Men, such as Patton, made this country the "Shining City on the Hill," and I wish we had more like him, as we are sorely in need of more great men. While poking around the interwebs, I found this same speech, but set to video. I offer for your viewing enjoyment, this awesome speech. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Joke of the Week

Tip O' the Hat to Just A Conservative Girl for this week's joke. I saw it on her site, and it was just too good to resist.

The Hair Cut...

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week." The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.
