Guess Who Came to Dinner

This has happened here once before, and possibly twice. Here is just a small sampling of some of my recent V.I.P. visitors. I hope they found the contents interesting and enlightening. My question is, are these the government checking up on a voice of dissent, or some of that waste, fraud and abuse I hear so much about? In other words, legitimate, albeit misguided, checks on the opposition, or government workers wasting more of our money surfing the net on government time and equipment? Either way it is good to see our borrowed dollars at work.

These next two are my favorites. They are both from USCENTCOM. I am always proud to host our boys and girls in uniform. I sincerely hope that my humble writings help stave off some of that "hurry up and wait" boredom, and that my support and camaraderie buoy you help. You all have my respect, support and prayers. Stay safe and give 'em hell.

Letter to Senator Jim DeMint

Today I received this letter from Senator Jim DeMint:

Dear Friend:

I want to personally thank you for signing the "Repeal ObamaCare Pledge" at repealitpledge.com and give you a quick update.

First, the bad news.

At 11:56 a.m. this morning, President Obama signed the health care legislation into law, turning one-sixth of our economy over to the federal government.
Congressional Democrats cheered as they watched the President sign this full-blown attack on our freedoms. It was a painful sight to see.

Now, the good news.

Minutes after the health care takeover was signed into law, I introduced a one-page bill to repeal it. While this Congress won't pass the "repeal it" legislation, it defines our shared goal and will help us distinguish between those politicians who get it and those who don't. Once we replace the Democrats who voted for ObamaCare, we will repeal the bill and start over with commonsense, free-market solutions.

Senator,

I thank you for your efforts to return freedom back to the American people. While I appreciate the bill you have/will introduce to repeal this monstrosity, it is at best a symbolic gesture. While I do not discount the need and usefulness of gestures such as this, which I will help support in any way possible, I believe that the time for gestures has, or will soon, pass. The administration, with the help of RINO traitor Senator Snowe, and Congressional Democrats have already revealed the next step in their plan to irrevocably deliver our nation into the hands of Karl Marx with their "bi-partisan" Immigration "reform" plan. Before the "Enemy Within" can cut Liberty's throat, we must start taking them apart. When a RINO rears it's head in the party, we must denounce and expel them. If we can not get, and keep, our own house in order how will we get the house of the nation in to any form of a sensible order? Next we must take apart the opposition. We MUST use any and all mean possible, short of violence, to denounce and expose the Democrats who hate America, The Constitution and all we as a nation stand for. We must begin impeachment proceedings against The Speaker, The Senate Majority Leader and The President. I put it to you this way sir, the time for soft words is past, we must now use the big stick. You have revealed yourself to be a true conservative and a leader, and have my respect, help and support. The people cry out for someone to lead us out of the dark valley of socialism. You sir, could be that leader, but no longer will WE THE PEOPLE sit idly by while the ruling class of the DNC deliver us unto evil and our own leaders talk and talk, and then when that inevitably fails say they did "all they could." The time to fight back has come, and I pray that the fight will not take the form of violence, but the American people will die on their feet before we beg on our knees. A Prayer for Our President

Right now, our President is besieged on all sides by contention. He says he is making the changes necessary to make this a great nation once again despite the will of the people, because he knows what is best for us. At this time I would like to offer a prayer for The Chosen One as he goes about making the changes to our great nation that "He" deems to be for our own good. Today's prayer is taken from Psalm 109:8.

May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership. Amen.

Is America Still Making Men?

Every society has to answer a few basic questions in order to succeed and even in order to survive. One of them is, "How do we make good men?"

The reason for the importance of this question is simple: Males untutored about how to control their natures will likely do much harm. Conversely, males who are taught to how to control themselves and to channel their drives in positive directions make the world a much better place. The good man is a glory of civilization; the bad man ruins it.

Throughout American history, American society asked, "How do we make men?" (It was understood that "man" meant a good man.) Anyone who thought about the subject knew that boys who are not transformed into men remain boys. And when too many boys do not grow up into men, women suffer and society suffers.

What is a man (as opposed to a boy)? The traditional understanding was that a man is he who takes responsibility for others -- for his family, his community and his country -- and, of course, for himself. A man stood for ideals and values higher than himself. He conducted himself with dignity. And he was strong.

For much of American history, making boys into men was understood to be of supreme importance, and society was usually successful. When I was a boy in the 1950s, without anyone expressly defining it, I knew what a man was supposed to be. And I knew that society, not to mention my parents, expected me to be one. It went without explicitly saying so that I would have to make a living, support myself as soon as possible and support a family thereafter.

When I acted immaturely, I was told to be or act like a man. I wonder how many boys are told to "be a man" today; and if they were, would they have a clue as to what that meant? It would appear that for millions of American boys, this has not been the reality for decades. Many families and society as a whole seem to have forgotten boys need to be made into men.
There are numerous reasons:

The distinction between men and boys has been largely obliterated. The older males that many American boys encounter are essentially older boys, not men. They speak, dress, and act similarly (think of men who "high-five" young boys instead of shaking their hands). And they are almost all called by their first names. Even when a boy (or girl) addresses an adult male as "Mr.," many men will correct the young boy or girl -- "Call me" and then give the young person his first name. This is often true even with regard to teachers, physicians and members of the clergy. When a young person calls an adult by his first name, the status of the two individuals has been essentially equated. Boys need men to respect. It's not impossible to do so when they call men by their first names, but it makes it much harder.

Boys today have fewer adult men in their lives than ever before. Many boys are not raised by any father. More are not raised by a father who lives in the home full time. Nearly every teacher and principal American boys have in elementary and high school is a female. The boy's clergy person and physician may well be women. And few male figures in contemporary film radiate manhood as defined above.

The ideals of masculinity and femininity have been largely rendered extinct. Feminism, arguably the most influential American movement of the 20th century, declared war on the concepts of femininity and masculinity. And for much of the population, it was victorious. Indeed, thanks to the feminist teaching that male and female human beings are essentially the same (note, incidentally, that no one argues that male and female animals are the same, only human beings are), untold numbers of boys have been raised as if they were like girls. They were denied masculine toys such as play guns and toy soldiers, and their male forms of play -- e.g., roughhousing -- were banned.

America has become a rights-centered rather than a responsibility-centered society. Aside from helping to produce a pandemic of narcissism, the rights-centered mindset is the opposite of the obligation/responsibility-centered mindset that makes a boy into a man. It is not good for either sex to be rights-preoccupied; but it is particularly devastating to developing men, as men are supposed to be obligation-directed. The baby boomer generation helped destroy manhood in most of the ways described here. One additional example was its widespread slogan, "Make love, not war." One cannot come up with a more unmanly piece of advice: "Don't fight for your country, screw girls." If the greatest generation had adopted that motto, Hitler and Tojo would have won. A few years ago, the city of Chicago named a street after Hugh Hefner, a man who has played games much of the day and night, lived in pajamas and devoted his life to sex -- quite a model of manhood for American boys.

There are few places where men can bond with other men. One major way men become men is by associating with other good men. The only places left where this normally takes place are sports teams and the military. The same holds true for boys. And much of society is now working on breaking the most significant all-boys institution, the Boy Scouts.

Males no longer have distinctive roles. Men do best when they are relied upon, when needed; and they feel most needed when they do something distinct from women. This exists today in sports and the military. It is symbolic -- significantly so -- that there are no more "men at work" signs on highways. Now "people" are at work. "Men" have disappeared.

Many churches and synagogues have been feminized. This has occurred in at least three important ways: Clergy are increasingly female (and touchy-feely males) -- for the first time in Christian and Jewish history; God is often depicted as androgynous and no longer either demanding or judging (He just loves all the time); and religion has been changed from morally and theologically demanding to a therapeutic model. So religion, too, has become yet another place where boys encounter few men, and few masculine models (even in God, as noted, is no longer masculine).

Instead of the traditional American model of masculinity, which was a rare combination of masculine toughness and stoicism with doing good (e.g., Superman), boys are now taught to be preoccupied with their feelings and with (unearned) self-esteem. They are not even allowed to lose; all boys playing a sport are given trophies, not just winners.

Increasingly, marriage is regarded as optional. The most obvious expression of men assuming responsibility -- marrying a woman and taking care of her and their children -- is no longer a male ideal. Vast numbers of men quite openly admit to having problems with the C-word (commitment) and responsibility of being a family's sole breadwinner.

When boys do not become men, women assume their roles. But they are not happy doing so. There are any number of reasons American women suffer from depression more than ever before and more than men. It is difficult to believe that one of those reasons is not the very emasculation of men that the movement working in their name helped to bring about. And so, a vicious cycle has commenced -- men stop being men; women become man-like; men retreat even further from their manly role; and women get sadder.

Don't Think it Can't Happen Here

The woman pictured above is Fiona Pilkington. formerly of Barwell, Leicestershire, England. Fiona supposedly committed suicide with her eighteen year-old disabled daughter by setting themselves on fire in the family Nissan Micra. She felt driven to kill her daughter and herself because a gang of street thugs had been terrorizing her family for over a decade. Self immolation is an odd way to kill oneself, unless you are a protesting Buddhist monk, so I will not hesitate to postulate that these "feral children" possibly killed these two women, but the police have ruled it a suicide. I do feel that there is cause to be dubious about any conclusions drawn by the local police, and soon you will too. These little bastards threw rocks, flour and eggs at her house, trampled her hedges, urinated on her house, verbally abused her and her daughter and severely beat her son then locked him into a shed where he was held at knife point. Further to the other actions, they put dog excrement and firecrackers through her door by way of the letterbox, set her fence on fire, threatened to kill her son and screamed at the family in the middle of the night. To make matters worse, this woman called the police more than thirty times, wrote to two Members of Parliament and her councilmen. What did they police do for her? They gave her a diary so that she could track the incidents. I have to say that this was obviously not very effective at ending the problem. The cops did nothing to help this poor woman, but tell her she was over reacting. In fact at the inquiry one cop made the following statement, "[L]ow-level hooliganism is no longer the responsibility of the police." This woman may have taken her own life, but she was murdered by an unfeeling police force, an uncaring legal system and a gang of thugs. In one of life's twisted bits of irony, the police have given police protection to the family of some of boys that drove this poor woman to insanity. Now that the inquest is done, those that didn't care until there was public outcry are now looking for someone to blame, and they have apparently settled on the police. Pictured below is Alex Simmons the ring-leader of this bunch of murderous thugs.


In America, this story would not have gone down this way. The headline on my blog would read, "Terrorized Woman Cures Lead Deficiency for Violent Thug." Fiona would have purchased a gun and sent this little bastard to hell, but seeing as how the police would not help and that guns are all but illegal in England all that happens is the police get chided and this skid mark gets police protection from his righteously angry neighbors. This whole mess is shameful.

As the title reads, don't think it can't happen here. There is a whole group of pansies, who because they fear guns want to take them from the hands of the law abiding, who simply want to protect themselves and their families. They pray everyday that The Chosen One will ban all guns outright. So what is the problem? The police are here to protect you, aren't they? WRONG! You, citizen, have NO presumption of police protection. SCOTUS has ruled on this time and again. This is even true in the fascist cities that ban guns. So what can we do? How do we protect ourselves, our spouses or our children when seconds count and the police are just minutes away? Well the answer is obvious, shot the bastards down. It is time to insist on our rights. Demand that your state enact the castle doctrine if they have not already done so. Demand shall-issue permits. Tell the gun-grabbers, "HANDS OFF!" Demand your rights as a free American. I live in an armed household. Even my eight year old owns a rifle and knows how to use it. If we do not stand up for our rights brothers and sisters, then I invite you to reread the story of Fiona Pilkington. Look at Europe and their restrictive laws, because if we do not stop the liberals now, therein lies our future. Do not think for a second that this can not happen here in America, everyday we limp closer to becoming a second Europe.

Where is the President?

Today we enter the 255th day of the current administration, yet I have yet to see the president. I see the man who won the election, I see the candidate, but I have yet to see the president.

Obviously I know that The Chosen One has taken office, but what I want to know is when will we see the switch from candidate to president. Typically most presidents make the switch a few weeks prior to the inauguration, but here we are nine and a half months or so into the administration, and still we are without a president. This man acts like he is still on the campaign trail. He has given 265 speeches, interviews etc as of the thirteenth of this month. This is not how a president behaves. I know he promised to "change" the system of government, but to date, the only change I have seen in how government is run, is an absentee president. Even the left is starting to take notice as evidenced by this article. Even more amusing, is the analysis in this article that his tactics do not work. Even his acolytes are deeply disappointed.

Hurry-up Huessein realizes that the weight of the president is a powerful tool that can be used to leverage legislation through the process. What he has yet to realize is that the more the president is seen, the less effect each appearance has. He has diluted his undeniable charisma, and worse, his dubious credibility. Some people stop listening because they get bored, but far, far more cease because the know he is trying to cover the lie by repeating it over and over again in the hopes that someone will be convinced by his earnestness. Me thinks the lady doth protest to much.

Beyond all of that, he is an obvious narcissist. Since he has "taken office," he has referred to himself in his speeches just shy of twelve-hundred times. This deeply damaged man loves the sound of his own voice, and the cult of personality that has grown up around him. When he addresses the masses, he rarely has anything of substance to say, so much so, that the damned surrender monkeys are embarrassed by the guy. It is a sad day indeed when the French have to give lessons to an American president on how to be a hawk.

The Chosen One has made a mistake that thinking that the future of our great nation is best served if America is seen as being "cool." This tactic does not work in parenting, and just as assuredly does not work in the leadership of a nation. Just as the child with the "cool" mom aches for an actual parent, so to does a nation cry out for a leader. Hopefully before we are the laughing stock of the world, The Chosen One will realize that being thought well of does not necessarily equal respect. This nation was once respected as a power and a leader of the free world. Not so today. Making nice with every dictator he can lay his hands on, and apologizing all over the world for your nation does not earn you respect, only contempt. The kind of allies that are snuggling up to the Kenyan-in-Chief are at best, fair weather friends who will desert us as soon as it is expedient to do so.

It is because of the left's, and specifically the president's, weakness that is the cause of the increase in terrorist activity. The Islamofascists know we have a weak-willed nancy in office, and they see now as the perfect time to attack. Say what you will about Bush the Younger, he kept the terrorists at bay. Granted that The Chosen One has captured more terrorists on our soil, but the point is that fewer were willing to come here to make an attempt. This idiot is making it more dangerous just to go about your daily life. I wonder if this is the change that so many signed up for, somehow I doubt it.

Unite? I Don't Think So!‏

I don't know where this originated, but I like it! Tip o' the Hat, again, to my dad who sent this to me.

I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, have called upon America to unite behind Obama. Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen: I AM NOT uniting behind Obama!

I will respect the office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith, BUT that is it!!!

I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that He is a one-term President!

Why am I doing this?

It is because I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America: I do not share his abortion beliefs; I do not share his radical socialist concept of re-distributing wealth and government control of banks, the auto industry, the health care industry; I do not share his belief that America needs 30+ "czars" to rule over sections of our economy; I do not share his view that America is arrogant; I do not share his view that America is not a Christian nation.

I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%; I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than to American citizens who need help; I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage; I do not share his views that radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy; I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public); I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the health care system in America;

I do not share his strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.

Bottom line.... my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is right!

For eight (8) years, the liberals in our society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our country! They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!

They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years; they have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our country!

They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our society! They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear arms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code; they have attacked one of the most fundamental of all freedoms, the right of free speech!

Unite behind Obama? Never!

I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of evil!

PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!

Majority rules in America , and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America .."

I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our country!! Any more compromise is more defeat!

I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist anti-God crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America!

Government Visit - Again

I received the above hit on the 24th. I have to admit that I am not sure whether this is our military looking at a "Dangerous Threat" to our national security, in direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, or a bored Pentagon employee wasting my hard earned tax dollars surfing the internet. I am also not sure which one of those scenarios would anger me more, as both are inappropriate. I have to admit that this is salve to my wounded pride, as the only government entity that has so far visited my humble blog, is the Department of State. I am not able to provide the same service to the Pentagon as I was the Department of State for their visit, as I respect the military to much to skewer them. I guess all I can do is thank you for visiting and providing me a topic to blog about.

Another Government Hit?

I received this hit this morning.

The question is, is this a hit from a resident in D.C., or the feds spoofing another Domain? I hope it is the feds, and wish that they would identify themselves, damn it I want my props. Oh well, you get what you get. I will continue to shoot for the top slot on the enemies list, and can't help but wonder, how much tax-payer money is being wasted on the government's domestic spying operations on the internet?

Jealous No More

The Gestapo recently stopped by to check on the ol' Right Wing Extreme blog.

Yes I finally got my visit from the government. The State Department spy got to my site from In a Handbasket, so congratulations and thanks to Miss T.C. Shore. Like my friends, the government has come to verify that I am exposing their lies. Anticipating a visit from the government, I had already left a little gift for their viewing enjoyment. I do admit that the title of this post is somewhat a lie, G-Man got a visit from the White House, and Defiant Infidels got the Department of Homeland Security. I mean a visit from the Department of State is awfully similar to getting the Bronze Medal in the Olympics, especially since The Chosen One has marginalized Secretary Clinton. It shows that you have some talent, but that you are just not quite good enough to rate better notice. Oh well, I guess that I will just have to try harder. Look for a post tonight or tomorrow to honor my visitor's distinguished boss.

There is a gentleman on television that is telling vicious lies and half-truths about the proposed health-care legislation. He is grossly misrepresenting the facts and spreading fear of the proposed plan among the population. This man is extremely dangerous, and his lies must be stopped. As this man is of some minor importance, the media is constantly covering his lies and fear-mongering. Please, please put a stop to this man's tirades on health care as soon as is possible. The man's name is Barrack Hussein Obama. I can not reiterate it enough, this man is extremely dangerous and divisive.

How dare you encourage the American people to turn each other in. This is in the worst traditions of the Soviets. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I have been posting regularly on the proposed legislation, and I intend to continue to do so. My blog may only have a small following, but I am doing my part to denounce this blatant power grab. That this country has come to the point where the government feels justified in making important decisions for me, encouraging others to turn me in for my political/policy beliefs and foisting substandard care on my family and myself is a travesty. GET OUT OF MY HEALTH CARE. Shame on all of you for your Orwellian tactics. This is blowing up in your faces, and you are either to arrogant, or to blind to realize it. We do NOT want you in our health care, and soon you will see that we do not want you in office.

Last Chance for Freedom

In 24 hours we will know who our next president will be. This is everyone's last chance to do right by America. I have to admit that Obama talks a good game, hell a great game. So if you are thinking of voting for this poser, here are some thoughts to ponder. Obama wants to give a rebate to people who pay nothing in taxes. Need I say more than bread and circuses? Obama wants windfall profit taxes on the oil companies. Who do you think will pay those taxes, the oil companies or the American people? Not that Obama will mind, people not being able to afford to drive will make him happy, but it is a long 16 miles to work for me, how about you. Obama says that he respects an individual's right to bear arms. Check his voting record, he will have our guns banned quicker than you think possible. Obama wants to redistribute our wealth. So did Stalin, Lenin, Mao and Poll Pot. Communism killed 106 million, makes Hitler's holocaust look like a tea party. Obama says he will continue to support our allies such as Israel. Yet he will sit down with that whack job Mahmūd Ahmadinejād unconditionally. I wonder why large segments of the Jewish community want to vote for this guy when he is willing to sell out their mother country. So think about this and make your voice heard, there is still time to save this country. I disagree with McCain on many issues, but Obama Bin Laden scares me. Didn't we already have eight years of this type of non-sense during the Clinton Administration? Don't vote McCain. Vote conservative, we can't afford Obama.

9/11 Remembrance

Here we are at the seventh anniversary of 9/11 and still we haven't dealt decisively with these terrorist assholes. Osama is still out there and it seems like all America cares about making sure the big scary guard dogs don't bark at the guests in Club Gitmo.
I spent today at the rodeo listening to the REAL people of this country remember this tragedy. They flew the flag at half mast and said a prayer right out in the open. Like many of you, I spent 9/11 glued to my TV watching as thousands of innocents suffered a fiery death. Unlike most, however, my anger unlike many in this country hasn't gone away or cooled in the slightest. I feel physically ill whenever someone says that if we could only understand these people and their grievances, we could have peace.
Peace sounds good to me too, but like anyone with half a brain, liberals need not apply, I know that there are many roads to peace. The only thing the Kool-Aid drinkers have right is the need to understand our enemies. We must understand our enemies so that when we communicate with them they realize we mean business. After all if we attempt to communicate above the level these people, and I use the term loosely, and they are unable to understand, then there will never be any understanding. The only form of communication these animals understand is blood and pain and suffering.
On this note we should all demand of our so-called leaders, that real and open communication be commenced immediately. We should rain down all the blood, pain and suffering these beasts can handle. We have the technology; we can rebuild the peace faster, stronger, better. Anybody who thinks that a Tomahawk cruise missile can not be equal to a diplomatic communique? If you said yes, I invite you to visit this site and think again.
I don't give a damn if a few terrorists had to make a pyramid while nude. Water boarding, we do it to our own troops to teach resistance to questioning, and you do not hear the libs crying about them. I don't really want these people drug before a judge and jury. Let's not waste the money and time that a trial takes. Let's bring the rain, they will understand that.
